US Small Business Administration (SBA) Grants Credence 8(a) Small Business Status
August 19, 2009 – Credence has been certified as a Participant in the US Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program. Credence’s participation in the 8(a) program is effective until August 18, 2018. One key benefit of the 8(a) program is the opportunity for Credence to receive “sole source” contract awards up to $3.5M. Credence Wins Maryland Consulting and Technology Services II (CATS II) Contract
June 1, 2009 – Credence is awarded the CATS II contract by the Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT). CATS II provides Maryland State agencies with the flexibility of obtaining IT resources quickly and efficiently by issuing Task Order Requests for Proposals. CATS II is a 5-year contract ending on April 30, 2014.
Credence has been awarded all 9 Functional Areas which we bid on – Enterprise Service Provider, Web and Internet Systems, Electronic Document Management, Software Engineering, Information System Security, IT and Telecommunications Financial and Auditing Consulting Services, IT Management Consulting Services, Business Process Consulting Services, and Documentation/Technical Writing. US Small Business Administration (SBA) Certifies Credence as HUB-Zone Enterprise
May 19, 2009 – Credence has been approved by the US Small Business Administration (SBA) to participate in the HUB-Zone Program as a qualified HUB-Zone small business concern (SBC). Credence is now eligible to receive HUB-Zone contracting opportunities, and has been included in the listing of qualified HUB-Zone small business concerns maintained by the SBA.
Credence awarded GSA Multiple Award Schedule (IT-70) Contract
May 11, 2009 – Credence is awarded the Schedule 70, Special Item Number 132-51 for Information Technology Professional Services by the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS). CEO Sid Chowdhary Elected to PAN-IIT USA Board
January 1, 2009 – Credence CEO Sid Chowdhary, an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), has been elected as an Officer and Director of the PAN-IIT USA Alumni Association Board of Directors. He will serve a 2-year year term from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010. Pan-IIT USA was honored by the US Congress for their contribution to the US economy with a House Resolution in 2005. Credence added to the DC Information Technology Staff Augmentation (ITSA) Contract
October 18, 2008 – Credence has been added to the ITSA Contract for the District of Columbia (DC) Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). ITSA is primarily focused on increasing the efficiency of the District’s IT procurement process, reducing the procurement timeline for all involved parties, lowering cost for the District government, and increasing process transparency for the District’s Certified Business Enterprises (CBE). Team Credence Takes Top Prize at Everybody Wins! Golf Tournament
July 21, 2008 – Team Credence, led by Captain Sid Chowdhary, captures top prize at the Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC) 12th Annual Golf Scramble at the Golf Club at South River, Maryland. EW!DC is the largest children’s literacy organization in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The tournament helped raise funds for EW!DC’s mentoring and literacy programs.
